Strategic Security Corp. anticipates an upcoming requirement for Armed Guard Service nationwide to assist in the recovery from damage that occurred from severe natural disasters, civil, pandemic or technological disaster, terrorist attack, humanitarian migrant crisis, labor, protests or civil unrest. Strategic Security Corp’s expert-trained security guards and crisis management teams are standing by to deploy and we are conducting a national law enforcement injury to deepen our over 1200 workforce. This is an inquiry for your availability to support upcoming nationwide employment requirements should the need arise. This is NOT a notice of employment. This is market research to find available active or retired law enforcement officers and armed security officers within the geographical areas that already possess active armed security guard licenses in each state you say you are licensed in.

Requirements: The primary areas that will require staffing are locations to be established by Strategic Security clients that include Local, State and Federal Government, educational institutions, telecom, manufacturing, industrial, retail, transportation, hospitality and other commercial clients. During the height of the requirements for armed guard service under a Strategic Security contract, it is estimated that:

  • Armed guards will be required daily,
  • Working in a Strategic Security uniform, performing 8-12 hour shifts for minimum of 24 hours part time, working up to 40 hours a week however days and shifts are flexible,
  • Strategic requires the applicant to be able to stand for the duration of the shift and be outside, a drug screening and criminal history check.
  • Staff are paid weekly via W-2 with no exceptions.
  • The assignments typically include deterrence, conflict de-escalation, access / egress control, security screening, visitor processing, static or foot patrol and response, traffic control, enforcing client rules and regulations, responding to emergencies.

The following are the essential job functions for uniformed employees working under a typical Strategic Security contract:   

  • Physically detaining and escorting an individual with assistance if necessary.
  • Work greater than 12-hour days and can work additional hours due to unexpected activity.
  • Work under occasional tension or pressure.
  • Work alone while armed. Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping.                 
  • Apply handcuffs.
  • Lawfully carry a handgun exposed and wear a police style full duty rig and Level II retention holster.
  • Occasional running or sprinting.
  • Respond to life threatening or emergency.
  • Climb while in pursuit or in an emergency situation (stairs).
  • Pull oneself over an obstacle.
  • Lift/carry/drag/pull/push heavy objects.
  • Physically control crowds or by-standers.
  • Pursue suspects on foot and subdue combative person after running in pursuit.
  • Any other related duties as determined by Strategic Security.

Subcontracting: Strategic Security self-performs and does not participate in any subcontracting or payment via cash or 10-99.
